Nicholas Journal entry #1
Today is Monday, November 17, 2008. The weather is cold because it is almost Winter! The temperature is 30 degrees and the wind is blowing. It is cloudy. We went to the Rec center and we played. We played Across the Ocean and we played War. Stefan warred with a scarf and I warred with a hat. We used our quarters to buy some candy when it was time to leave. I bought the sours and Stefan bought the chewy kind. At the end we went to Walmart. We bought tea, cupcake cups, and toilet bowl cleaner. Then we got home and did school. I colored a turtle and made tickets from the Polar Express movie for art. I have been wondering how frogs get their tongues long out to catch flies.
Since my time has wrinkled I hope to catch that infinity by chasing thoughts that have strayed too far from home. By bagging them via photos, words, and notations I hope to be able to locate all ideas, thoughts, and prayers needing a home here in the beyond.

Who Am I?

- I am wife to a fantastic trombonist/teacher who is father to our two beautiful living sons and four babies in heaven,(our little girl is Rauha and the boys are awaiting their naming.) I play French Horn and teach children, teens, and adults how to play and interpret music. We are educating our sons at home and I plan to use this blog to help organize and document some of what we accomplish. I love to prepare and drink Yeti coffee (!), read, watch a good drama, and go walking and hiking as I struggle to grow in love for God and His creation through my Roman Catholic faith.
